Webster Outlying Field Material Automation (Radio Frequency Indent Faction) (RFID)
July 15, 2025
description
Currently, the material handling receipt and distribution services performed by the WOLF are accomplished via manual recording and tracking activities. These manual activities cause increased processing errors in the recording of tracking numbers, lengthy system updates and distribution notifications, and delays in locating material stored in the on-base and off-base locations. The purpose of this project is to automate the receiving and distribution process to provide readily available metrics and reporting for material delivery aging reports, material storage location, material delivery items, and quantities.
