Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Operational Decision Network Prototype Project

FOD is a significant driver for engine removal for nearly every platform in Naval Aviation. The comprehensive FOD program seeks to understand, quantify, and prescribe solutions to FOD and requires coordination across commands and installations. The purpose of this project is to develop a process that enables the synthesis and analysis of data from novel sensing technologies to quantify the risk to operating aircraft in a dynamic debris field environment.
