E2D Hawkeye Mission Computer Alternative (MCA) Adjunct Processor

The E2D aircraft mission systems design was developed by the platform prime contractor and provides very limited ability to upgrade software and processing resources without significant reinvestment with the aircraft prime manufacturer. The purpose of this project is to build a prototype of an MCA that provides both a secure segment and a partitioned open architecture software environment. This will allow for expedient integration and testing of mission systems capability applications and provide for mission data recording and storage and mission data playback for debriefing after missions are completed.
