United States Marine Corps Deployable UH-1Y Aircrew Trainer (AT)
July 14, 2025
description
The United States Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadrons (HMLA) have identified a requirement for a deployable UH-1Y Aircrew Trainer (AT). This AT is envisioned to be a small footprint, light, deployable aircrew rehearsal training device capable of completing Training and Readiness (T&R) Simulator (S) skills tasks for UH-1Y Crew Chiefs (CC, MOS 6174) and Aerial Observer/Gunner (AO/AG) aircrew. The H-1 community currently lacks a training systems capability to perform aircrew coordination skills tasks related to the UH-1Y Crew Chiefs and Aerial Observer/Gunner positions while deployed. The objective of this effort is to deliver a deployable UH-1Y AT prototype.
