CMG Networks: Your Partner in Accelerating Innovation

CMG Networks serves as the managing organization for NASC, providing the acquisition expertise, operational support, and collaborative infrastructure that power NASC’s success.

Why NASC

NASC connects Government sponsors with a trusted network of industry partners capable of rapidly delivering mission-aligned solutions.
Our OTA framework enables faster contracting timelines, reduced administrative burden, and greater flexibility for research, prototyping, and follow-on production.
Members span critical disciplines—from propulsion and power to digital engineering—supporting the Navy’s most complex needs.

NASC OTA Features

Through its Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the Navy, NASC provides a collaborative platform and agile acquisition pathway that links Government with industry and academia to deliver defense innovation at the speed of business. In addition to decentralized ordering, the NASC OTA has the following features:

Available for use today by Agreements Officers across the DoD and the Intelligence Community
No ceiling
Ease of use—streamlined terms and conditions
Flexible project solicitation and award processes - the project sponsor determines the best approach for their project
Enables CMG to provide a full range of administrative support and serve as a force-multiplier, adding critical bandwidth to government acquisition and program management teams where and when needed
The contracting organization gets “credit” for project awards using the MCSC OTA, not the Marine Corps
Provides for direct transition from prototype to follow-on production enabling accelerated delivery of new capabilities to the warfighter.
